The place was buzzing with families holidaying by the beach, so it's necessary to book ahead of time if you want an inside table and food from the main menu. I was alone and hadn't booked. However, a most helpful waitress got me the best pizza and chips at an outside table. Staff are run off their feet. Atmosphere is happy and dynamic 👏👏👏

- Maybe not the best part of the place as there is gravel near the main entrance which is difficult for people in wheelchairs.

We had the Sunday roast. It was amazing. Beef was beautifully cooked. Had roast potatoes, roast carrots, parsnips, cauliflower cheese, peas, mashed swede, cabbage, mashed potatoes, gravy. Everything was piping hot and the service was excellent. Dog friendly too.

Visited with 3 other families over half term. Had a great time. We went for the rock n roll bingo, so much fun and the kids won a tenner which made their day. Food was really good quality, they also served up some delicious cocktails. Really fun and welcoming staff, we’re all looking forward to going back.

My daughter was boggled by £6 coffee cost. I guess they're seasonal so need to cover annual costs. Service tends to be slow, but it can be busy. I've never sat inside, always go after a walk on fabulous Freshwater East beach and sit outside with a group. Sometimes just two of us.

Discovered by accident, would revisit by choice. Delicious home cooked food, presented well and served with a smile. Highly recommend the steak sandwich.

Nice place for a stop off. I can’t comment on the atmosphere as I get there at opening time but I’d say it would have some nice vibes in the evening. Professional and friendly staff. Food was good, a very nicely made steak roll. It comes with crisps but I added chips which was a good call as they were delicious

Good location close to the beach, lovely looking pub and good beer garden. The service was good and staff were all very friendly. Food was very tasty, slightly on the expensive side but you do get what you pay for defo. Decent gluten free and vegan options too.

Food is lovely. Had food off special menu, chinese chicken curry, gorgeous. Ate there three times in the week we were in Freshwater East. Service was excellent, Lue did everything to help accomodate us despite us not booking. Lots of outdoor seating. Strongly advice to pre book and toilets could be updated but other than that cant fault it.

A lovely place to eat and relax with family. They have lovely seating areas inside and out. Also nicely decorated and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. They even have a GLUTEN FREE menu! 🙂 I recommend the GF Chicken and Bacon Club Sandwich and Chips and if you're looking for a nice GF and Dairy Free treat, they have some lovely brownies too! 😋

Lovely restaurant close to the beach. Food was good with decent portions. This place does get very busy at weekends as it’s the only place in freshwater east. Booking is highly recommended.

We have been there on numerous occasions to use the beach wheelchair and we've always been treated with polite and really helpful staff, the food is great and access to the beach is easy for disabled people. A great place to eat and have a cool drink after a walk on the beach

What a lovely team and lovely chilled out atmosphere!!! My grandparents have a huge white Maremma dog called Chance so we are limited to the places we can go with him. The staff here welcomed us to sit in the back and Chance was given a few free biscuits. They took our order at the table and were very dog friendly!!
We had the soup of the day with cheese toastie (nan loved this), sides of both cheesy and cheeseless chips (lovely big portions and big chunky chips), tots for grandad who has a huge appetite and was full again said was delicious. Mum and I had the pulled pork which was filling and delicious 😋
We all wanted cake but we were too full... cappuccino was lovely and my hot chocolate was so chocolatley.
The staff here could not do enough for you and the food was delicious. Definitely worth a visit or two. It is right next to the beach which is helpful as there aren't any shops or cafes there.Opening hours
